Collide is a product of that absurd adventure, forging a curious alliance between Middle Eastern traditions and potent West Coast circus, underground hip-hop, breakbeat, brass band, downtempo, glitch and dubstep. Beats Antique's second album has brought the paradox of electro-acoustic music into the future.
Featuring a remix of 'Roustabout' by Bassnectar who SF Weekly quoted 'The largest cult following of any DJ in San Francisco,' Beats Antique return with their offering Collide. Their sound is a unique blend based in 'old' & 'new'. They blend old time turn of the century dust bowl Americana roots based music with Middle Eastern Bellydance, Electronica, and down tempo Hip Hop to create a unique fusion all their own.
